New offerings from Marlins provide chance for more entertainment for all ages at Big Rock Stadium

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. – The Morehead City Marlins have officially announced their 2022 season schedule along with enhanced season ticket plans for the new year, featuring a pre-game performance from award-winning country music star Walker Hayes!

The 2022 schedule touts 50 total games, including 48 games against Coastal Plain League (CPL) competition and two exhibition games. 

“After an incredibly successful year for the Marlins both on and off the field in 2021, we are extremely excited to continue to grow to offer more for our outstanding fans,” Marlins owner Buddy Bengel said. “We were thrilled to play the full season and get to the CPL Championship again last year. The Marlins are always looking to create a memorable experience at the ballpark and our new entertainment packages are part of that progress!”

With 26 home games scheduled at Big Rock Stadium, fireworks shows, live music and upgraded season ticket options, Marlins fans will have the opportunity to choose the package that best fits their entertainment needs this summer. Below are the season ticket pricing options and are available now for purchase here:

• Full Season Package – $260
• 10-Game Package (all Fridays) – $100
  • $200 for All You Can Eat (AYCE) Package
• (NEW) 5-Game AYCE Package (includes Opening Day, Two Fireworks Shows, Pre-Game Performance, & Bobblehead Night)- $100
  • Dates Included:
    • Opening Night: Friday, May 27th 
    • Pre-Game Performance (Walker Hayes): Wednesday, June 15th 
    • First Fireworks Show: Friday, June 17th 
    • Second Fireworks Show: Friday, July 15th 
    • Bobblehead Night: Friday, July 22nd 

The Marlins set an organizational record for sell outs in 2021, so be sure to guarantee your seat by purchasing the right package for you today! Single-game tickets are not yet available, but will be on sale in May 2022.

The Morehead City Marlins finished the 2021 season with a record of 29-14 and tied a CPL record for advancing to the CPL Finals for the third straight year, winning two championships in the process.
