HOLLY SPRINGS, NC–Morehead City traveled to Holly Springs for a matchup against the Salamanders. They fell 11-3.

They scored one run in the first when Bray Touchstone scored Grant Russo on a ground out to third base.
Jackson Saro scored the other two runs with a two-RBI double in the fourth inning.
James Brock started the game and went for 4.2 innings with five hits, five runs, two earned, five walks, and three strikeouts.
Connor Brady came in to relieve for 1.1 innings, giving up a solo home run, one walk, and two strikeouts.
Jake Friel followed by walking the four batters he faced before being replaced by Drew Wedgeworth.
Wedgeworth finished the game going for two innings, giving up three hits, one of which was a two-run home run.
The Marlins will head to Tri-City for a doubleheader with the Chili Peppers tomorrow at Shepherd Stadium. First pitch for game one is at 5:00pm, with game two starting after a short break.
