MARLINS MAKE A SPLASH WITH NEW TEAM PRESIDENT
Morehead City, NC – The Morehead City Marlins have made a major change at the top, by hiring long time baseball executive, David Krakower, to be their new Team President.
David will oversee all aspects of the Marlins business and day to day operations of the team. David brings with him a vast background in pro and collegiate sports. He will be entering his 26th season in professional and collegiate sports. He has had stints in Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball, Independent League Baseball, Summer Collegiate Baseball, the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, the United Soccer League, as well as working on the college football side of the business for ESPN. David began his career in 1999, as a ticket sales rep with the Detroit Tigers. He was a member of the front office staff for the World Champion Florida Marlins in 2003. Over the course of his career, David has had the unique privilege of helping build two brand new teams from the ground up (in 2005, with the Mesa Miners of the Golden Baseball League; and in 2016, with the New Britain Bees, of the Atlantic League). Most recently, David spent the past four seasons as the General Manager of the Lafayette Aviators, in the Prospect League.

David begins a front office overhaul that will help take the Marlins in a new and exciting direction, as they prepare for the 2025 season and beyond.
