Morehead City, NC- The seven inning exhibition contest between the Marlins and Wake Forest Fungo resulted in a 5-5 tie.

The Marlins welcomed back Ben Watson after a nearly month long absence due to injury and he made his presence felt instantly with a leadoff double in the first. Watson came around to score on a Ben Miller sacrifice fly.

Wake Forest put up two runs in the top of the third but their lead was short lived. Dylan Rogers annihilated a two out homerun that gave the Marlins a 3-2 advantage.

In the sixth inning the Marlins hit back to back homeruns as both Felker and Watson hit solo dingers to extend the lead to 5-2.

The Fungo were able to rally for three runs in the top of the seventh to knot the game at five, and kept the Fish scoreless in the bottom of the frame to cement the rare tie.
