Town of Morehead City approves fireworks for Big Rock Stadium
Morehead City, NC --For the first time in the history of the Morehead City Marlins, fireworks will light up the sky above Big Rock Stadium during the 2021 season.
During their meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9, the Town Council of Morehead City officially approved firework shows for the 2021 Marlin season. The two-time defending Coastal Plain League Champions will host two fireworks shows during the season with dates to be announced soon.
"The Marlins' bats won't be the only fireworks this season at Big Rock Stadium," said Marlins owner Buddy Bengel. "There is no better way to spend a summer night with family and friends than at the stadium with post-game fireworks. Both firework nights are sure to sell out quickly, so get your tickets! We're looking forward to welcoming Marlins fans back to 'The Rock' in a big way in the summer of 2021!"
4-game ticket packages and the brand new box seats are already available for purchase on mhcmarlins.com.
The Marlins' home opener is Friday, May 28 against the Wilmington Sharks. Don't miss your chance to watch the Marlins go for the "three-peat" in the Coastal Plain League!
