
The Morehead City Marlins placed a league high seven players to the All-CPL First and Second teams that were announced Wednesday afternoon. The First team All-CPL list included Dusty Baker, Jack Harris, Cal Hehnke and CPL Pitcher of the year Eric Miles. Hunter Shepherd, Connor Schultz and Leo Perez were all named to the Second team All-CPL.

Holly Springs -- The Coastal Plain League is excited to announce the 2019 All-CPL First and Second teams. Each team features 27 players: one player per each infield position, five designated hitter/utility players, six outfielders, six starting pitchers and five relief pitchers.
The team is highlighted by CPL Hitter of the Year Calvin Estrada of Macon, and Pitcher of the Year Eric Miles of Morehead City. Joining them are a number of standout talents, eight of which were at one point CPL Players of the Week. Those include Tommy Bell (Peninsula, Week 1), Jonathan Cole (Fayetteville, Week 1), Kendall McGowan (Forest City, Week 2), Dustin Saenz (Savannah, Week Four), Angel Zarate (HP-Thomasville, Week 4), Cole Secrest (Peninsula, Week 6), Jack Harris (Morhead City, Week 8) and Josh Hood (Asheboro, Week 9.)
Also making the team were multiple category leaders: batting average (Riley Hogan, .389), runs batted in (Quincy Hamilton, 50), slugging percentage (Garrett Blaylock, .712) on-base percentage (Riley Hogan, .476), runs scored (Jack Harris, 52), hits (Ian Walters, 64), doubles (Calvin Estrada, 25), home runs (Garrett Blaylock, 14), walks (Jeff Cyr, 47), batters struck out (Logan Workman, 67), wins (Eric Miles / Rohan Handa / Logan Workman, 6) and saves (Kyle Davis / Chris Rolick, 8).
